The Association of African Universities (AAU), in conjunction with the Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Ghana (CARLIGH) and the Royal Tropical Institute (KIT) of the Netherlands, organized a 2-day International Advocacy Seminar on Institutional Repositories from 18th – 19th July, 2011 at the Best Western Hotel, Accra, Ghana with some financial Assistance from EIfl.
The objective of the workshop was to build on the outcomes of the previous seminar in 2009 and move to the next level with the practical implementation and running of Institutional Repositories (IR) in the African institutions within the DATAD framework.
